About the Journal

AL-IKHTISAR: The Renewal of Islamic Economic Law is a peer-reviewed electronic journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Institut Daarul Qur’an (IDAQU), Indonesia. The journal provides a platform for scholarly studies and research on Islamic economic law, jurisprudence, Islamic law, and Sharia economics, with an emphasis on the renewal (tajdīd) of Islamic legal thought in contemporary economic contexts. The journal is published twice a year, in June and December, and implements a double-blind peer-review process through the Open Journal Systems (OJS). It accepts original articles written in Indonesian or english, between 2,500–5,000 words, which have not been published elsewhere. All references and citations must follow the APA citation style.
