About the Journal

AL-IKHTISAR: The Renewal of Islamic Economic Law is an electronic peer-reviewed journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Institut Daarul Qur’an (IDAQU), Indonesia. The journal aims to provide a platform for scholarly dialogue and research on the development, renewal, and application of Islamic economic law in contemporary contexts. The scope of AL-IKHTISAR covers various themes related to Sharia economic law, jurisprudence (fiqh), Islamic law, and Sharia economics, including theoretical and practical studies on Islamic finance, business ethics, and the integration of Islamic legal principles in economic systems. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process managed through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) to maintain the quality and integrity of academic publications. The journal is published twice a year, in June and December. It accepts original research articles written in Indonesian, consisting of 2,500–5,000 words, which have not been previously published or submitted elsewhere. Citations and references should follow the APA (American Psychological Association) style.
