About the Journal

Islamic Texts: Journal of Tafsir and Hadith Studies is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Institut Daarul Qur’an Jakarta. The journal is dedicated to the scholarly exploration of the Qur’an and Hadith, with particular attention to tafsir methodologies, thematic exegesis, contemporary interpretations, sanad and matn studies, living hadith, and the integration of scriptural texts into social, educational, legal, and cultural contexts. Published twice a year (June and December), the journal accepts original research articles, critical reviews, and conceptual papers written in Indonesian, Arabic, or English. Each manuscript undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance. Articles are indexed, assigned DOI numbers, and made freely accessible to promote wider dissemination and global scholarly engagement. The journal aims to become a leading forum for academics, researchers, and students to exchange ideas, foster critical discourse, and contribute to the advancement of Qur’anic and Hadith studies in both classical and contemporary contexts.
