Publication Ethics

Education and Commonity Servise Journal (EduServe) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. This statement clarifies the ethical behavior expected of all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

For Authors
Authors must ensure that their work is original, free from plagiarism, and has not been published or submitted elsewhere. Any data used in the article must be accurate and verifiable, with appropriate citations and references. Authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest and acknowledge all sources of financial support, if any. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools is permitted only as a supporting aid (e.g., language polishing or reference management) and must not replace the author’s original contribution; such use should be transparently disclosed in the manuscript.

For Editors
Editors are responsible for deciding which articles are suitable for publication and must ensure a fair, objective, and timely review process. Editors must not use unpublished materials disclosed in submitted manuscripts for their own research without the author’s consent. Decisions to accept or reject a manuscript will be based solely on its academic merit, relevance, and originality, without discrimination regarding gender, race, religion, or institutional affiliation.

For Reviewers
Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the quality of the journal. They must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback on the manuscript. Reviewers must treat the manuscript as confidential, avoid personal criticism, and disclose any potential conflicts of interest. If a reviewer feels unqualified to evaluate a submission or unable to complete the review on time, they should notify the editor immediately.

For Publisher
As the publisher, LPPM Institut Daarul Qur’an Jakarta ensures that all stages of the publication process follow strict ethical guidelines. The publisher works closely with editors and reviewers to maintain academic integrity, handle allegations of misconduct, and correct or retract articles when necessary.
