This phenomenon occurs because it is influenced by three main variables, birth, death and population movement. If one of them experiences a spike, then there is an uneven distribution of population and sometimes focused in one area. That is what is happening in Japan and India today. Both countries are experiencing population problems, both shortages and excesses, which result in social problems. This study aims to find solutions through the hadith’s perspective regarding the problems that occur in underpopulated countries, such as Japan, and overpopulated countries, such as India. By using thematic method in collecting data, and descriptive-analytic in the data processing, the results show that the Hadith of Muslim number 2610 can be a mediating solution for countries that are considered underpopulated like Japan, and overpopulated like India. The hadith refers to the Family Planning Program. This program is expected to be one of the solutions that can be implemented, because it still supports birth rate, but at the same time still pays attention to the distance limit or the number of births. Thus, the family planning program based on HR. Muslim Number 2610, can bring positive changes and a stable population for countries with serious demographic problems, such as Japan and India.
Muhammad Saiful Khair, Nor Faridatunnisa, Munirah Copyright (c) 2025 AL ISNAD: Journal of Indonesian Hadith Studies https://jurnal.idaqu.ac.id/index.php/al-isnad/article/view/572 Sun, 15 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700 IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM TAHFIZ HADIS DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER SISWA MA ANNIDA AL ISLAMY JAKARTA BARAT https://jurnal.idaqu.ac.id/index.php/al-isnad/article/view/670
This study is motivated by the large number of Islamic-based schools that havetahfizAl-Quran programs, but few schools have tahfiz hadis programs. As it is known that the Qur'an and hadith are the source of Islamic teachings. One of the schools that has a hadithtahfizprogram is MA Annida Al Islamy West Jakarta. Therefore, the author is interested in knowing the character that is formed in students through the tahfiz hadith program. The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of the hadith memorization program at MA Annida Al Islamy West Jakarta and to find out the characters formed from the implementation of the hadith memorization program at MA Annida West Jakarta. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are (1) Implementation of the hadith memorization program on Wednesdays and Fridays at 14.00-16.00 WIB, sometimes the activity schedule changes at any time according to the situation. The activity is guided by the supervising teacher which includes: depositing memorization, testing the memorization of past hadith, and improving the intonation of the hadith recitation. On Fridays, students attend hadith lessons taught by the hadith tahfiz instructor, which include: reciting hadith in accordance with makharijul letters, intonation, fashohah, waqaf, and ibtida. Since the hadith is dialogic, these things will affect the person who hears and understands it. Next is to provide tarjamah, mufrodat, and fawaid or the essence of the hadith. (2) The implementation of thetahfizhadis program can shape several student characters, namely: obedient character, honest character, disciplined character, responsible character, and polite character.
Siti Shopiyah, Dian Afifah Copyright (c) 2025 AL ISNAD: Journal of Indonesian Hadith Studies https://jurnal.idaqu.ac.id/index.php/al-isnad/article/view/670 Sun, 15 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700 METODE PENDEKATAN STUDI HADIS TEMATIK DENGAN GROUNDED THEORY ANSELM STRAUSS DAN BARNEY GLASER https://jurnal.idaqu.ac.id/index.php/al-isnad/article/view/627
This study examines how Anselm Strauss and Barney Glaser’s Grounded Theory technique and the thematic hadith study (mawḍū‘ī) method can be combined. The purpose of this study is to use inductive and methodical methodologies to develop substantive theory based on hadith. While Grounded Theory provides a methodical approach to qualitative data analysis that includes open coding, axial coding, and selective coding, thematic hadith study allows for the categorization of hadith according to specific themes. This study examines the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW with a focus on religion and social concerns using qualitative methodology and textual analysis methods. The Grounded Theory method is used to evaluate primary data sources, namely original hadith books such as Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. Documentation is used for data collection methods, and the open to selective coding stage is used for data analysis to identify categories and relationships between ideas. The in-depth analysis of this study reveals that religious values in Islam include important social components defined by empathy, accountability, and solidarity. The findings of this study indicate that this method produces ideas about Islamic Social Religion, namely ideas about religion expressed through empathy. These results show how hadith can be used as a source of contextual and useful social religious ideas when the analysis of themes and basic theories are combined. This study encourages an interdisciplinary approach that is more relevant to the current social reality of Muslims and offers a methodological contribution to current hadith studies.
Muhammad Ramadhan, Muhammad Alif Copyright (c) 2025 AL ISNAD: Journal of Indonesian Hadith Studies https://jurnal.idaqu.ac.id/index.php/al-isnad/article/view/627 Sun, 15 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700 ANTARA SUNNAH DAN TRADISI https://jurnal.idaqu.ac.id/index.php/al-isnad/article/view/590
This study aims to analyze the hadith about the prayer offered by the Prophet for the bride and groom during the wedding. This hadith is raised to criticize the tradition of prayers for brides such as to achieve Sakinah mawaddah wa Rahmah, immediately get offspring, and other prayer traditions that spread in the community. An in-depth study of the hadith from Abu Daud's narration number 1819 will answer at least two main questions in this research. What is the correct wording of the prayer based on the Sunnah of the Prophet? What is the meaning of the prayer, what is its essence, and what is the philosophy of the prayer? These two formulations will be answered with seven steps of hadith research consisting of tautsiq, takhrij, tashhih, tanasub, tarikh, tahlil, and tathbiq. Based on this methodology, the study concludes that this hadith emphasizes that what should be prayed for newlyweds is attaining blessings and goodness in their marriage through mutual cooperation, rather than just compatibility and offspring. The couple should strive together to continuously increase in goodness in all aspects of life. Marriage unites two different individuals, so the spouses should unite their love, aspirations, and efforts to achieve happiness and overcome challenges together.
Ulvah Nur'aeni, H.U. Known as Amirul Mukminin fil Hadith, Ats-Tsauri demonstrated that hadith scholarly precision could harmoniously coexist with Sufi spiritual depth. Using a historical-biographical approach, this research analyzes Ats-Tsauri's intellectual and spiritual journey and his influence on Islamic scholarship. The study finds that Ats-Tsauri's contributions extended beyond his hadith works like Al-Jami' Al-Kabir and Al-Jami' As-Saghir to include an integrative model combining Islam's outward and inward dimensions. His distinctive approach maintained balance between methodological rigor in hadith transmission and profound spiritual experience. The research reveals how Ats-Tsauri built his Sufi foundation on solid hadith principles, showing that authentic Islamic spirituality must be grounded in the Prophetic Sunnah. His intellectual legacy establishes a paradigm demonstrating that the dichotomy between hadith scholars and Sufis is unnecessary. This research addresses: What are the characteristics of Sufyan Ats-Tsauri's hadith, Sufism, and theological thought in the context of Islamic knowledge integration? These findings contribute significantly to understanding knowledge integration in Islam while offering an alternative model for contemporary Islamic studies that often become trapped in overly narrow specialization.
Edi Massolihin, Ahmad Roziki Copyright (c) 2025 AL ISNAD: Journal of Indonesian Hadith Studies https://jurnal.idaqu.ac.id/index.php/al-isnad/article/view/668 Sun, 15 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700 INTEGRATING ETHICAL AND FAITH BASED VALUES IN SOCIAL LIFE https://jurnal.idaqu.ac.id/index.php/al-isnad/article/view/605
This Morality is an important part of the teachings of Islam where morality is included in the scope of faith and is classified as a discussion of monotheism.
